A new study has found that a popular antibiotic used to treat infections can make it harder for doctors to get the drug to treat infections that are caused by a bacteria.
The study, presented at the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists annual meeting, was conducted at the University of Minnesota, University of Southern California, and the University of California at Los Angeles. Researchers used a combination of two different antibiotics in a double-blind, controlled trial.
